WELCOME TO TAO

TAO®* is an open source platform. It enables the administration and delivery of rich multilingual electronic tests.

  • It gives you the opportunity to create your own tests, manage them and deliver them into highly flexible environments
  • It is a web-based platform that enables human-computer interaction in testing and the integration of multimedia
  • It supports a wide range of assessments: standard (such as QTI), simple, playful, psychometric...

TAO is used in the well-known large-scale PISA studies (Programme for International Student Assessment) of the OECD.

The project is supported by the SSI (Service Science and Innovation) department of the Centre de Recherche Public Henri Tudor and the EMACS (Educational Measurement and Applied Cognitive Service) research unit of the University of Luxembourg.
